Grow fresh grass for cats and herbivorous small pets. Choose wheatgrass, barleygrass, or ryegrass seeds to grow fresh enrichment at home. This may suit some herbivorous pets, including tortoises, but always check the plant and feeding guidance for your animal’s species before offering it. Choose your variety: wheatgrass, barleygrass, or ryegrass. Sow the seeds in a suitable growing tray or pot, keep the growing medium moist, and place it in a bright spot before offering the grass to your pet.
